Spartak Football Club Stadium to Host 20 Football Matches and 60 Cultural Events per Year

Spartak Moscow Football Club's stadium (the Otkritye Arena), which is being built on the territory of the former Tushino airfield, will be able to host approximately 20 football games and around 60 cultural and entertainment events annually.

According to Sergei Sobyanin, Moscow Mayor, several important FIFA World Cup 2018 matches will be played at the stadium, which will be able to hold 42,000 people.

The Otkrytiye Arena will include not just the stadium, but also four additional football fields for training and a multi-functional sports arena for 12,000 people. The opening ceremony of Spartak’s stadium will be held in July 2014.

KROST Concern supplies construction materials manufactured by its companies (the Beton 222 factories network and the Mazhino factory) for the Spartak stadium project.
